Quality & Security

QA / Test Automation Engineer

Full-time · On-site · Karachi, Pakistan

Fixed-price delivery means there’s little room to discover a critical bug after handoff — clients notice, and rework eats margin nobody budgeted for. You’ll build the test coverage and automation that catches problems before they leave the building.

What you’ll do

  • Design test plans and coverage strategy for client projects at kickoff, not as an afterthought bolted on before launch
  • Build and maintain automated test suites — unit, integration, and end-to-end — across a mix of client tech stacks
  • Run manual exploratory testing on the flows automation doesn’t reach well: complex multi-step forms, payment flows, permission edge cases
  • Set up and maintain CI pipelines that gate deployment on test results, so “it passed QA” means something concrete
  • Work with security-testing engagements to validate that reported vulnerabilities are actually fixed, not just patched-looking

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years in QA or test automation, with hands-on experience building suites in at least one framework (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar)
  • Comfort reading application code well enough to write meaningful integration tests, not just click through a UI
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
  • A genuinely adversarial mindset — the instinct to try the input nobody expected rather than just confirm the happy path works
  • Bonus: exposure to performance or load testing, and to security testing fundamentals

What you get

Coverage responsibility across projects rather than one product’s regression suite, direct input into how each project’s CI pipeline is structured from day one, and a team that treats a caught bug as a win, not a delay to complain about.
