Design
Product Designer, UI/UX
Full-time · Hybrid · Karachi, Pakistan
Design work here spans genuine 0-to-1 product design and redesigns of systems that have accumulated years of inconsistent decisions. Both need the same underlying skill: turning a messy set of business requirements into an interface that a real user doesn’t have to think hard about.
What you’ll do
- Run discovery with client stakeholders — interviews, existing analytics, competitive review — before a single screen gets designed
- Design end-to-end product flows in Figma, from low-fidelity wireframes through production-ready components and states (empty, loading, error — not just the happy path)
- Build and maintain design systems that engineering can actually implement without guessing at the missing states
- Partner directly with frontend engineers through implementation, reviewing built screens against design intent and adjusting for real constraints
- Present and defend design decisions to clients who are sometimes furniture-store owners and sometimes enterprise product VPs — the reasoning has to work for both
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years of product design experience with a portfolio that shows full flows, not just isolated screens
- Strong command of Figma, including component and variant systems, not just static mockups
- A working understanding of frontend constraints — what’s cheap to build and what isn’t — so designs don’t die in handoff
- Experience designing for both web and mobile form factors
- Comfort presenting and defending design rationale directly to clients, including ones who disagree with you
What you get
Design ownership across genuinely different industries in the same year, a design system you help define rather than inherit, and engineers down the hall who’ll tell you honestly when something’s hard to build instead of silently descoping it.
